Our creative journey started right after cegep when Chris wrote and directed his first live sketch comedy show. Sarah jumped into the roles of marketing design, costumes and stage management. After selling out every performance of this show, Chris (Graduate of Dawson College's Professional Theatre Program) and Sarah (Graduate of Dawson's Pure and Applied Science Program) bounced between creating plays, sketch comedy, live improv shows, and writing screenplays. One screen play gained the attention of some major broadcasting companies leading to the shoot of a 30 minute pilot episode. This is where they honed their craft, with Sarah producing, filming, and hired as main photographer/designer for the print materials. Chris got to wear his writer, director, producer, and actor hat one after the other. Despite losing power on set, generators not working, summer heat taking over, the pilot got made and their path was becoming clear. Sarah started doing headshots for actors, which led to musicians taking interest as well. Chris wrote, directed and acted in his own sketch comedy series on You Tube, performed Improv Comedy professionally at the Comedy Works in Montreal, worked as an actor in Hollywood and Canadian Film/TV, starred in a number of plays around Montreal, and also pitched an animated series Frederator Studios (Adventure Time, Castlevania) in California.
Chris and Sarah having two children, have made space for their family to grow, but always keep creating. Sarah got into newborn photography, family portraits and milestone photography (obviously!) and Chris continued to write, coach and act in front of the camera. After mentoring in his post graduate years, Chris has always been someone to bounce ideas off of, ask for direction or collaborate with for other actors and writers. In 2020 Chris and Sarah had the opportunity to produce their very first short film, psychological comedy "BROCA." Despite the challenges of the pandemic, they made it happen. Chris wrote and acted in the film and was awarded for these efforts in multiple international festivals including Best Independent Short Film and Best Lead Actor at the Philadelphia Cinema Awards, Best Canadian Film at the Yes Let's Make A Film Festival, and Best Cinematography at the Toronto Comedy Film & Screenplay Festival.
With another production in the works, two kids still growing, they are also offering their experience and services to the public.
